A format check, a registry match and a physical assay answer different questions.

Three separate checks
Format: does the identifier follow the proposed syntax and checksum? Register: does a live, authorised system hold a corresponding record? Physical item: is this object consistent with its claimed metal and documents? Passing one does not establish the others.
This site implements only a local format demonstration. It contains no issued product database, no ownership record and no authenticity decision. Do not use a generated example as a product serial.

Copied identifiers
A copied identifier may return the same public record as the original. Verify the physical item and supporting documents through the responsible issuer and appropriate testing. A failed check alone is not proof of counterfeiting.
