The official service
Bahrain’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce operates precious-metal assay and hallmarking services. Its published gold hallmark description combines the Kingdom of Bahrain emblem with a fineness number in parts per thousand.

The Arabic and the shield
فحص ودمغ means “assay and hallmarking”. The shield in the supplied artwork occupies the intended hallmark position; its geometry has not been authenticated as an approved Ministry mark. It must not be treated as evidence that this article has passed official assay.
Use the Ministry’s official service for the applicable mark. Confirm the authorised mark and process before production approval; submitted articles are required to be finished and clean for assay and hallmarking. Do not engrave a copied official mark into a production die.

Recognition outside Bahrain
Bahrain is not listed on the Hallmarking Convention’s current Contracting States page. We therefore make no claim of Convention recognition or automatic acceptance abroad. Confirm the importing market’s requirements for the actual article.
